Members of the AMGRF curatorial team who participated in the ANDRILL-1 (MIS) project during the austral summer 2006/2007 have been conducting correspondence with students and teachers from the Holy Comforter Episcopal School in Tallahassee, Florida. The students followed the progress of the ANDRILL project via email and the ANDRILL website and have carried out their own research into Antarctic geoscience. The AMGRF team have made two visits to the school to give talks and answer students questions.

Over the past 12 months Facility personnel have conducted more than a dozen tours of the AMGRF to a variety of groups including: FSU Women in Science and Engineering (WIMSE), Tallahassee middle school teachers, middle school students from Challenger Learning Center summer program and SciCamp program for middle school girls interested in science careers.
