McMurdo News

Six members of the AMGRF staff, curators (Matt Olney and Matt Curren), visiting post-doctoral fellow Davide Persico), graduate student (Steve Petrushak) and two undergraduate students (Kelly Jemison and Charlie King) traveled to Antarctica for the inaugural ANDRILL project. The season was a wonderful success and the core recovered is a truly unique record of Antarctic geological history.

The AMGRF curatorial staff would like to thank the whole ANDRILL-1 project team for making the season such a productive and enjoyable experience. Below are a few photographs of the AMGRF team taken during our stay in McMurdo.
